deleted messages?

I've posted a topic twice now, and I still can't see it. If I change
the settings from Topic Summary to Topic List, I can see it, but when
I click it, it says
There are no more messages on this topic. All messages in this topic
may have expired or been deleted.
Is this happening to anyone else? I'm wondering if this message will
post.Meant to add that there is always a delay of some time between posting and
being able to see your messages. Perhaps this is your issue.
